Ive always thought that I think more clearly in the morning. Well it’s 5 in the morning and I woke up for no reason. As soon as I woke up, it really hit me. I realized that I haven’t been myself lately. To tell you the truth, I haven’t been my myself for a while now. Over the last year or so, I’ve been slowly getting in more and more of a funk where I’m less motivated and less happy.
I’ve been aware of myself acting this for while and I know I need to change. When I randomly woke up this morning, I woke up mad at myself. Mad that i’ve been living in a state of mild happiness. I know it’s a cliche thing to say, but life is too short for that kind of mindset. Life is such a beautiful thing if you allow it to be, but I haven’t been allowing it fully. You can be anything or do anything you want if you don’t excuses get in the way. You just have to start making steps towards your goals. Excuses are a terrible thing. I find myself justifying why or why not I’m doing something and it gets me know where. I need to be more positive, more active, healthier and more reliable.
I’m not really sure why I’m typing about this is my phone right now.. But it feels good. And I need to admit these things to myself and to you guys so I can move past them. Also because I feel like ever since I started getting this way, I haven’t been as open with you guys as I used to. So I think I’m going to start doing these little blogs more often. Just to get all my jumbled thoughts out and to share them with you. You guys really mean a lot to me and I can’t thank you enough for all the love and support you’ve given me.

Bad/Dumb/Stupid News

Hey everyone,
I don’t have a good way to tell you this so I figure I should just cut to the chase.. I have bad news that I’m so so bummed to tell you. I had to drop off of the He Is We tour to finish recording my upcoming album. This is out of my control and I don’t get to choose when I get to record. I was REALLY looking forward to seeing you guys at the shows and getting to hang out with our great friends in He Is We, but unfortunately I just cant do it. My album needs to be finished by a certain time so it can be released by a certain time. The only plus to all of this is that I will have new music out sooner and I’m super excited to share it with you. I really apologize to anyone that was planning on seeing us. It bums me out to disappoint you guys. If you already bought tickets, send an e-mail to: trevdahl@yahoo.com
I want to figure out a way to make it up to you.

So sorry again. I should be touring again very soon and I’m stoked to see you guys.
